Track work is a totally different set of conditions and a good LSD makes a HUGE difference in stability and lap times. TBD's do not offer the benefits that LSD's do.

On the public roads in sleet, snow, and ice - smooth and gradual throttle application is the key to not losing control. I've had the car sideways, if I gassed too quickly, while exiting a turn, especially if there's a bump at the turn's apex!
