So I had a few noticeable chips, and after doing some research, this product seemed the best of the at home kits.
Made by prestone for the same company that does fix-a-flat.
Cost was about $10 at walmart.
This product works VERY well if you follow the instructions. My local safelite wanted $130 to fix a few little chips, and this knocked them out in about 30 minutes.
Now into the sun to cure.

repair is done. Its not perfect, but its also 28 and snowing out. My biggest reason for doing this now was to stop any further cracking, but I think when it gets warmer out, I'll try again to make it perfect.

Check with your insurance company. Many will fix chips, stars, etc.... for free if you have glass coverage and they are not located directly in front of the driver. I have had many repaired over the years.

I did. My insurance company will cover the chip repair without a deductible, but that may preclude you from getting a rate decrease on the next renewal. In practice, that may not be the case, but for $10 bux and 30 minutes of my time, its vastly improved.
