Default Another drop link question

The new drop links for the Bilstein HD have one bolt to long.
It will not fit into the top perch.
Picture is included with the drop link and a extra proper length bolt.
Should I cut the top bolt?
Any recommendations

Thanks

Flip them over, use the long end on the bar.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for your reply.
However, BOTH of the bolts are the SAME long length: top and bottom.
To "to weld or not to weld". I have picture of entire drop link.
For some reason, I can't pull up pic right now.

Thats strange as I thought all of these droplinks had one stud longer than the other. Perhaps its only the ones from Porsche.

Even if you angle the stud upward and insert it into the mounting hole?

Hi

If these are the inexpensive Ebay drop links then i am looking at a pair sitting on my desk right now. The ones I have are the same length each end.

If they turn out to be too long for my HD's I will have no issues cutting them down. Thread a nut on first and then cut, that way the thread will be clean when you remove the nut ready for the new one.

Hi Chris, I have angled that stud upward and at all directions.
The SOB won't go.

Berni, yes I got the same ones.
A gentlemen in the UK were selling them.
Looks like I will put a nut on first and cut one end.

Thanks
