Default odd request

could someone w/ 285/30x18 MPSC measure the tread width and section width w/ the tire mounted on a 10, 10.5 or 11" wheel. extra points for overall unloaded height and/or loaded height

I'm doing a detailed CAD drawing of the wheel wells of these cars, if I get real ambitious i'll do a SolidWorks 3d

Thanks! I just measured my 265/35s, the section width is easy, the tread is trickier, just do the best you can, I used the wear marks at the edges of the tread

Bill,

MPSC on RS Speedline wheels 18" x 10" wide ET 65
With 30 psi
Section width 11.2"
Tread width 10.6" (approx)
Loaded diameter 24.38" as measured
Loaded diameter 24.43" if corrected for my tread wear

Interesting that my measurements are quite a bit different from the Michelin data:
Section width 11.4"
OD 25.1"

Mike

Thanks Mike! That's perfect.

I started doing this from Michelin's published #s and then realized that their #s were different from mine too.

my 265/35 on the same wheels are 11.25 s/w 10.25 t/w
