Default Anybody know the part number for the RS hood prop seat?

The little cup that the rid sits in when in use. I bought the hood prop setup from Sunset and didn't get the little piece on the bottom. I think it replaces one of the four nuts that holds the upper shock mounts in place. I called Sunset and Bob was unable to find the part number for it. Thanks for any guidance.

Bart,
I just checked the ROW PET - nothing.

It could be as simple as a heat exchanger hex barrel nut - instead of the standard top mount nut. The nut I mention may afford a small cavity that the RS rod seats in. Just a thought.

Here's a pic of the hardware that came with my Perfect Power bar a few years ago - the barrel nuts are clearly visible:

That looks about right. You can see what I think is a real RS posted by Manila here: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-pieces-2.html

Bart, are these the correct part numbers for the compelte hood support package (e.g all you need to install?):

Socket head nut 999.085.001.02
Retainer 999.507.372.07
Hood support 964.511.569.00
Rod support 964.511.551.00

Do I need any additional bolts or washers etc.?

Sunset does list the part given by Jason above as a exhaust nut. And it's in stock.

Viggo, I would have to double check, but that seems right. You have to rivet the bracket on, and they are not included.

Ok cool. I guess the riveting can be done without porsche parts. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. Exhaust nut? Hmm..

There are also 2 tiny screws that hold the retainer in: 900 138 001 02

You could easily use something else there, though.

But the kit from Gert, you will get all the parts.

I've also seen people use the monoball nut as the resting spot as on this RSCS
