FYI - 4300 Kelvin, interesting, as Daylight Color Temperature is 5500 degrees Kelvin. As tungsten is from 3200-3400 degrees Kelvin, thus a warmer light. 4300 K is a cooler light, more blue-ish, but not quite the blue of daylight. The more cooler, say above 5500 would be a cloudy day.

I dunno, but judging from my personal experience ... my current aftermarket 4300k HIDs look about like the factory HIDs in my last 993. Judging from the comments above, that sounds about right.
