Tommy 09' What a trip and too much time spent at Mountain State Brewing Company. Should be fun this year. That is when I had the TT tail on the car. Looks better removed. Thanks for the memories Darin.

Price drop. $31,900.00. It is hard to believe that the car hasn't sold yet, but it's probably a lot of me putting an emotional value on the car. This is a great price IMHO. I have had some internet action at $34,900.00, but no lookers at all. Does the asking price of $34,900.00 on the internet seem strong for everything the car is? Is it the economy? The color? The miles? All the above? Any ideas are appreciated. I have never had a hard time selling one of my 993's and this is by far the nicest of the bunch. WTF maybe I am supposed to keep it. Thoughts..

Yes, you're supposed to keep it!

I don't think your $35K price is out of the ordinary at all, considering what's been done to the car. Some non enthusiasts may be put off by the color, or the mileage. On the flip side, I've never been into cabs but that's the only one I'd own. It is such an amazing car.

Hey Mike,

I'd stay the course. As far as I see, the economy is still far from any recovery and folks are still in an ultra cautious mood. The right buyer is out there. Patience is the name of the game these days.

You have one fine machine with great upgrades and a lot of personal involvement to make it so!! Hey it IS finally summer now so I would say just enjoy the fruits of your labor and 'let the chips fall as they may' ...

New projects are always fun and exciting but to what end??

GLWS and and I'll be passing the word,,,,

All points well taken. I honestly feel the economy has a large part in this. This car is so well documented with photos and receipts. I'll just wait it out. Just a little frustrating since all the other 993's I sold were not as nice, sold faster and for more money. Oh well I am not giving it away $31,900.00 is CHEAP on the car. Thanks for the adivce. I always try to keep emotions in check when I deal in cars, but this one is different, So Mr. Ilko may be barking up the right tree.

Hey Mike - I think it is priced well and this is easily recognized by the 993 crowd. The mileage may concern a few prospects that don't know how tough these car are or what a fuss-pot you are when executing a project!
It would be a shame, but you could always sell the sport seats and RUF wheels and get the price in the high 20K range - enough to make a grown man cry. If I had a full head of hair and wanted a cab, yours would be the one. Hang in there mate!
Cheers,
Bob

It has crossed my mind to de-mod the car. I could lower the price and actually make more. I just hate to do it, but I have thought about it.

Hi Mike,

For someone that wants a cab in that color, it is a great price. Bob's idea is pretty good, advertise it for $29k without the wheels or sport seats. Do you have a set of stock seats for it?

From the prices being posted on cars for sale now, your price seems VERY low with the level of detail you have gone to in having the car restored. Personally, I love the color and almost everything you have done to the car (for me I need the rear seats for my kids, so RSD would be the only thing I would undo on your car).

Dude, whatever you do, do not remove the sport seats. They make the car, imho.

If my garage weren't full, I'd buy it. Just wait. Someone will come along that needs that car.
