That is the most beautiful cab I've ever seen and if I were in the market for a Porsche (any Porsche) I would seriously consider it. I've never been a cab person but this car makes me tingle in all the right places! Best of luck with the sale Mike, at this price you're practically giving it away.

I too have seen the car in person and it is a beauty. I'm just sorry we won't get to play with it down here in Nashville.

Mike, if you need any help with the car transaction or the move I'm just a phone call away. And tell Pam I'm sorry about her Ky. Wildcats.

Mike-- Relieved to read you're staying in the fold here.
Beautiful 993, always glad to see more Smurfy photographs

Best of luck with the move, & the sale. Someone will be fortunate to own such a perfectly put-together 911!

We may be playing with it down in TN anyway. If the car doesn't bring the $$$ I am just hanging on to it. My thoughts are just to buy the most house I can in this down economy and the sale of the car would help me do this. If it doesn't move I look forward to meeting all the 993 guys down there. Pam was pretty upset over the loss, but at least they went to a bowl game unlike my Cards. I will be down there in a few weeks so we will get together. They have her in a corporate apartment right now. The house goes up for sale here in a couple weeks. I will be in touch.

Thanks for the heads up on this car If this were a Tip It would be gone even though I really want (need) a Coupe. When I find my 993, it will be my daily driver.....

Someone is going to be getting a really nice car!

Well, this makes me sad and happy at the same time. Sad because you're selling and I'm not in a position to buy (if my house was sold in Seattle, I'd be flying to Kentucky tonight). Happy because this means a new project for you, and, I'm sure it will be something just as incredible and wonderful and hopefully we all get to watch the process again ...

One VERY critical issue you did not include with your post Mike....

Does Lil' Fart go with the car?? How about his buddies?

Considering your labor of love, I don't like this idea at all!

I just bought a move up house and I'm keeping my car, although admittedly an "extra" $35K here doesn't matter as much. Have you used the online "how much home can I afford" calculators yet? It seems to me that it's income that limits your sale price much more than amount down (to a point). Besides, Nashville didn't bubble as much as other markets, so I don't believe that it's as much of a fire sale as you might exepct. Also, when I was looking a couple years ago there were nice 3-4 BR brick homes with a 2 car garage and a basement for under $250K. Brentwood is nice with good schools, if that matters to you...

Remember I had my buddy in La Quinta check this car out for you?

If it were a coupe, you would most likely have a bidding war. Had an '88 turbo cab. I learned when it's nice enough to have the top down, it's too hot out (for me). Good luck - that's a wild color.

That's all I got. I guess the light at the end of the tunnel would be another 993 project. Good luck with the sale......I think.

Hey Mike

The sale of your car does not need " luck " the buyer will be the one who has the " luck "

Cheers Guy
