The yellow car was in NC, before that in a private collection in OR.

Here's his Christmas gift to RL last year at this time: "993 turbo S - 2560 wallpapers" thread on the 993TT Forum.

I wish this was coming to me from Santa this year - but it will only be in my dreams.
Unless I win the Lotto.

Great timing, too. A good friend in the US owns one, & recently sent me photos of it, asking me to start a RL thread & post pics of his exotic
Stay tuned...

Do we believe that's a factory Aerokit, reflected in the option sticker?
Let's say it is worth a lot and is mechanically sound. You'd be crazy to buy and then drive the value right out of it. Unless they find a truly "rich guy" multi-car collector who doesn't mind having a SY sculpture and has another 993 or other air-cooleds for actual driving, I think that's gotta be a tough car to sell. A 35K mile example for a little more than 1/2 that makes so much more sense if you're a non-collector shlub liek me who might actually want to drive it.
That said, I would like to stick my head in and sniff it. Probably smells new.

that's how I look at it.
To get a new Carerra without some Subaru motor, it has to come with a big stupid wing on it.
Wilhoit had to pay up for this car. It didn't go cheap. But he'll make it up when everybody wakes up and notices all the nice ones are gone. Most to Europe.
Even through this crappy economy air cooled 911s have held their own.

I believe this is the same car that Road Scholars had for sale for over a year. Originally came from the far NW US. It just sold recently for something like $70k. Now, these folks want to flip it and make a "dime".

Nice, except that car has been doing an awful lot of sitting. Not good. I have had other cars (non P) with very low mileage and had weird problems that were hard to solve like vacume leaks, fuel delivery, funny smells, leaks and uneven running issues.
Still, give me your sick, your tired and your low mileage C2S!!!

My original owner - silver '98 C2S is all that of the OP sans the Aero spoiler package. Although add factory options, Full Leather, Sport Seats /heated, Litronics, Computer, R.Wiper, CD changer, Carerra S sills, Strut brace. And 50k miles and 12 years later I'd accumulate F&R Euro bumpers, R. Fog light, M033, RS short shift, G50/21 gearbox, LSD, Gert's bar and additional leather interior bits, etc... All factory items.
I point out my own 993 as an introduction to say the yellow 993C2S ain't worth $75K USD... (O yeah,,, the hurculean Euro.....)
