Tell me about it... I just came back from Miami for 3 days today, we had over 10 inches of rain JUST yesterday! And now on the TV they're saying 18-28" of snow with drifts 3-5 ft high. Glad it's Saturday. Too bad for our friends that are having their daughter's Bat Mitzvah tomorrow. We'll try to go, but it's not looking good for attendance. All the years of planning, all the money they spent, and he's a meteorologist! Funny how life turns out sometimes. They may get a very low turnout.

My folks live in Washington Grove (in Gaithersburg) and we are heading up next Friday... hope some of it lasts until then! We haven't had a good snow for years here in Atlanta, and having grown up in Anchorage, I kind of miss it!

We got our blizzard two weeks ago; it was a ripper. I left the office Friday, right after lunch, so I could get home. It took the City about a week to plough out some of the suburban areas. Offiially, we got 20 cm, but the winds just kept drifting it in. It was pretty when it cleared out:

It's fun driving the Subie around in it, as long as no one ahead of you gets stuck.
