Does anyone know where/ if the unit that pulls and or pushes the headlight unit into and out of the fender can be purchased? On mine, the hole where the angled rod rotates is chipped and sometimes the light goes out because of poor contact.
Also, if I upgrade to the HID units with the mini ballast that someone here wrote about, will this eliminate the problem (that is if I cannot get a replacement)?

That would be a dealer only part unless get get something used from LAPD or one of the other dismantlers. I just bought the plastic plate that holds the lever in place from a dealer so you never know.
