Default DIY for RS Door Panel w/ Hifi?

I just ordered RS door panels from Appbiz and wanted to know how I can just have a single speaker in each door. I have the Hifi speakers now.

It is pretty straight forward. You need to mark the location of the speaker structure (cutout) in the door frame. Transfer that to the back of the panel (The appbiz panels may have cutouts in place already). Once you know where the speaker hole is going, cut it out from the inside of the door board being carefull not to damage the vinyl. Then, from the passenger side, cut the vinyl from the center out to the edge so that you can roll the vinyl back and cover the cut board.

Just my thoughts - when I had RS door panels, it was already done for me by the PO.

I think his question is in regards to signal to the speakers. And I am unsure of the answer, as I have never torn my HiFi setup apart.

In that case, only 2 wires should enter the door from the stereo. Trace those up to the cross over and disconnect. Throw away everything starting at the crossover and use the wires directly to connect to a new co-axial speaker.

Hi
had the same question a few weeks ago. It turns out to be quite simple.
