Any opinions on Bauer Porsche Repair?
My brother-in-law lives near that shop and owns an 83 SC cabby. He likes the car but is not a car guy. The car has several issues (understatement). I would like to gift some car service to my BIL. So of course the the integrity of the place must be such that I could pay for service that I don't see. I don't think he would want to drive too far. What do you think?

I thoroughly recommend them. Chris is an excellent mechanic who truly understands Porsches. He did a lot of work on my 993, including re-seating the glass roof after it had dropped a couple of inches. Stuff he repairs stays repaired. My repaired roof and sun shade came back from Bauer better than they came from the factory when new. If cost is an issue for you he will happily figure out the most cost-effective way to get your car back to running the way it should.
