Default Thoughts on this 993?

Been browsing the west coast market for a while (looking for a C2 that's a driver/ occasional DE in due time and minimal worry for a clutch / valvejob), and like what this one has to offer. Being from the east coast, I always think about road salt and corrosion, but this one is probably okay (Georgia). Was going to have a PPI done (it probably needs atleast a clutch).

It's advertised at one price on their website, but it's $2k lower where advertised elsewhere.

Someone had posted the following for a PPI. I appreciate that Callas is known for being thorough, but due to the cost/distance, will probably go with one of the other two.

Truespeed is a fantastic shop. Hergesheimer is much closer to Truspeed and also has a great reputation.
Good luck!

It looks lower than stock or maybe its just the camera angle. Has the suspension been upgraded? Looks decent but don't see any other mods....depends what you want. It shouldn't need a clutch but a valve job is a maybe. The leak down test should help there. Any maintenance records available? I paid a couple of grand less than that 2 years ago with 64k, original owner, private sale.

I looked at that car a few weeks ago. The stone/chip guard for the rear fender flare is missing on the left side. Close inspection revealed that there was some less than quality paint/bodywork performed in that area.

The rubber seal for the upper right corner of the windshield was completely messed-up, there is a huge gap between the seal and the glass/metal. Water would pour through the gap.

There appears to have been some paintwork on the deck lid, right where the "handle" mounts (not sure about this it might have just been something like oil/grease making the paint look cloudy).

The interior is quite worn for a car with only ~50k miles. If I didn't know, I would have guessed that the car had seen well over 100k based on the wear of the drivers seat, compared to other cars that I've looked at.

I didn't bother to take it for a test ride.

Edited to add: They told me that they would take $26k for that car
