Front bumperette (aka 'nipple') delete ...how is it holding up ?

I followed John D's DIY about almost 2 years ago and it's holding up just fine. As others have already recommended, I did the headlight washer delete and filled the Lisc. plate mount holes too. There are different types of plastic/materials that various manufacturers use, and I think that the key is to use the correct filler material which is compatible with the OEM bumper. This way the bond will be stronger and it will expand and contract and the same rate. GL

how much did that cost to do?
it seems like an awful lot to remove the headlight washers... and then have to blend the fenders and hood ! I would not trust just any body shop to do this kind of work. (I guess it is a good "refresh" to get rid of bumper and hood road rash !)

It started out as a bumper respray/bumperette fill only. But the hood needed resprayed so I just went for it.
Correct Alf...I wouldn't trust this to just any body shop either. Everything was done right. Proper compounds to fill the bumperette holes, metal plate tacked in where the washers were etc.
I think all in it ended up to be about $3K. I also immediately had a custom clear bra job that was about $400. The clear bra is actually in place on the last picture shown in my post...you can't see it!
