+1 on Ocean Blue/Grey combo. I looked for an Ocean Blue car for quite a while and bought it with 25.5K on the clock. It's my daily driver and has been very dependable in the 7+ years that I've owned it.

Never noticed any pink tinge to the carpet or mats. The Porsche OEM mats are a year old. They do stain more easily than I expected.

rol607: what part of Ohio? I'm starting to look for a replacement for my '98 C2S. I'm not looking for any particular color, except no GR or speed yellow. Nice looking car...

Excellent. Do you do your own work? Eric Steinel has taken care of the three I have had over the years ('87 Carrera, '88 turbo cab and the '98 C2S). I looked at the new iterations and I'm almost certainly getting another 993 when I find the right one, although that 1.9% money and the steep discounts on the '09 S coupes at Baker and North Olmstead are a bit tempting. Since it's about 16 out right now, I'm not in any great hurry. We have belonged to NEO-PCA since 1991 but never go to meetings - I like getting Pano. Let me know if you set a price - I might want to take a peek after the Holidays. I'm in the Snow Belt...

Don't hold your breath. I can count on one hand the number of slate 993s I have seen on rennlist since joining.

Good Luck

Pegasis- I know it will be difficult to come across a slate grey C4/C4S but plan for the worse and hope for the best.

I cannot stop thinking about my future car! I have that same feeling of when my pops bought me my first motorcycle.

I have narrowed down my search to a black/black or metallic blue/black C4 or C4S. Nothing in WA state...

C2 Slate Gray/ Gray interior on ebay for under $30K with 62K miles. Looks like what you're looking for if you can do without the AWD.

Edit: after closer inspection, it looks like it's a Tip. I was beginning to wonder as the priced seemed too low.

Here is a 95 C2 offered by an individual on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...fCarsQ5fTrucks

He claims mint condition, 65,750 miles and a Buy it now price of $27,950.00
Only down side in my opinion is that it has a tip trans.

Worth a look.
Good luck!

Hello,

I am personally looking for a car in California so I thought I would share this nice C2 with the color combo you mentioned.

that looks like a proper 993 as long as the PPI checks out.

I hunted for a blue c4/c4s for a long time, to no avail -- good luck, I'll be jealous when you find one!

I know that Richard Sloan has a blue/light grey (I think) c4 - it's on his website. There is also one in the Seattle area, but it's a bit overpriced and seems a bit sketchy.
