One of the 996tt wheels I bought for the 993 had some curb rash. I tried the DIY that I had used on other wheels and could not make it work. I took the wheel to a Wheels America location. They did a great job. $100 and a 24 hour turn around.

Think that I will need to look them up near spring-time. I had a severe brain fart when replacing the swaybar links, and placed the wheel face down when putting it under the car...

Chuck: Their website says they powder coat the wheels. Did they redo the barrel of your wheel also?
Thanks for the heads up on this. I have been really disappointed with the efforts of several wheel shops in this area.
