Many thanks for your welcomes...so much for being a stealth Rennlister. Have been a Porsche owner for longer than I care to remember starting with a 356 in College. Wish I could have kept them all.
Just to answer a few questions asked:
Trophy: Glad you clarified 'Growth' for the pan. Actually waiting to find Larpy's stash of Xenit. Could just paint it red in the meantime...not.
Bart1 and Curve Lover: Getting used to the seats. Tight but secure. On longer trips where confort is perfered not so much. Canyons and spirited driving-perfect. Has the 5-point belts but use the standard arrangement around town.
Louis J: That is the car. Paid a little more than the post listiing. Me thinks the original intent was to do a trial baloon on the potential value. I responded in a PM almost immediately. Bottom line is it has great mods, passed the PPI and really love the car. The hunt is half the fun and was definitely worth it!!
Tim: It was on of those fine Colorado fall days beckoning for a road trip. There were a lot of familiy dinners happening on this day and just worked out for Bobo and I to meet at Larpy's - Chris (always has a frige full of adult beverages AND a 4 post lift). Was a tough choice--Football on the tube or a little windshield time!
Curve Lover: really appreciated tour help and comments as well along this journey. No Immobilizer in my future thank you. Hope to meet you at one of these impromptu gatherings.
JPP: It's Baltic Blue a 'paint to sample' color.
Patrick Connor: and cheers to you for physically checking out the car and the meeting over a double latte prior the road trip back to Denver--great ride by the way.
Larpy: you are a baaad influence
Bobo: Many thanks for your encouraging words and cool pics. Here's back at you as we roll back down the road for our Thanksgiving Dinner....Much to be thankful for...
Cheers,
Jim

Jim, you indeed end up with a great car. I was looking at buying those seats a couple of years ago. Not cheap and ideal if you want something good looking, light weight and reclining. These sit right in between my two favorite seats, the OEM sports seats and the Pole Positions. The entire car looks to be a gem. Congrats again.

The best part about Jim's new 993 was that Boulderbobo and I gave it a good "lookin over" and thank GOD we did not find any duct tape. Bob has an eye for duct tape

Now that we have that little tidbit exposed....can we talk about swirls in our paint?

Jim-- Thanks for the PM: I'm further south. Wasn't my black 993 you saw. Mine's red, but would be hard-pressed to look as good as Bob's in your above photos. Clean machine, BoulderB!

Very cool!!....and I love that shade of blue on Jim's car it reminds me of my 1987 911 which was Venetian Blue (I LOVED it and still miss that car sometimes for all the right reasons). Here's a pic.
Also....very cool seats in Jim's car...what are they?
