Default Rear reflector

Paint or not to paint to match body color? Thoughts? I saw some pictures (can't find it at the moment) of this mod somewhere on the web.

I think some RUF-VINed cars were delivered this way to cover up the Porsche tag as the cars are RUFs, not Porsches in the eyes of the German TUV.

Would I? NYET! NOT! NOPE!

Default Vinyl tint?

Maybe black vinyl tint... I put some on my rear taillights, fog lights and front turn signals... Looks dark, but it's 93% transparent.

As a side benefit, 964 taillights fade to pink in no time (not sure if 993 have that problem?) and the vinyl covering acts like a 3M cover that protects the lights from rock chips, etc.

Plus you can peel it off in 1 minute if you don't like it? I think it would look pretty sinister a dark color car!

Here's a tread I started over in 964 land:
