Default Need help from electrical Gurus

My electrics on my car have me stumped...

Basics: 1995 C2
A while ago I hardwired a GPS using the switched terminal from the #51 relay spot. I do not have a relay in that position. All worked great for a couple of months.

Yesterday I wired a fused terminal block to the same location so I could also run a radar detector (see pic). When I plugged in the detector and the GPS, no power.

As it stands now: The car starts and drives.
What works:
Headlights and side markers, turn signals, hazards. Interior lights.
Radio.
Central locking.
Horns.
Power seats.

What does not work:
Power windows.
Sunroof.
Heating and A/C control panel.
Fog lights.
Windshield wipers.
Rear window defogger.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Albert

The wiring on these cars was dodgy at best.
Just check ALL the fuses. You will find a blown one somewhere. The thing that gets me is it's the bigger fuse thats gone for some reason. I reckon you shorted something without knowing it.
Give it a try.

Thanks. I figured out what is happening, I just don't know why??

Relay marked Term X is not energizing. This relay passes switched power to all of the relays of the items that I am having problems with. This relay is energized by a purple wire from the ignition switch and for some reason the juice is not getting to it when the key is turned.

I thought the 944/968 had little room under the dash. The 911 is almost IMPOSSIBLE! Spent the good part of my rainy Sunday tracing the wire to see if it was damaged anywhere and could not find anything. Next step is to run a separate wire from the ignition switch to the bottom of the fuse box point that corresponds to relay X.

Hoping that will fix the issue. For now, I have a jumper wire from relay position 30 to 87 to supply the power to all my accessories.

Ans that's how I roll...

I never got into this mess on a 993, but on a 928 ...

X-bus is live (+12v) with ignition on - stays on until ignition off & door open Any possibility here - like those pesky, 10 cent push button switches in the doors not grounding out when open?? BTW, is there a fusible link on that circuit ? .... may be worth a look.

I usually stay away from the X-bus, and stick with the standard circuit tracks ( for the benefit of others about to blow fuses , they are;
30 12V unswitched, direct to battery
15 12V switched when ignition in run position
31 ground

BTW, that little bit is the best I have .... so best wait on the gurus ...
