So this ends up being a great thread for those of who have decided to remove the entire airbag system for what ever reason.
But, though I understand the DME circuit and the warning light circuit.
I cannot identify which pins to jump in the harness plug to provide power yo the DME.
Can someone please describe which pins/sockets you jump on the harness plug? Basically which are sockets for pins 5 and 20?
I do understand the warning light tab goes in the 3rd double slot on the right.
Thx...

Did this today, works great. Thought I would add more pictures.
I used the chisel method to get it out (not fun), then removed the torx screws to get inside.
entire unit pulls out
Used a small side cutters to get the bottom pins cut from the back. The top pins were cut by running a small hacksaw blade across them.
Soldered the appropriate pins
Put it back in the original case for a clean install.
Then it went back in the car!
Did a quick test, all lights off, and car starts.

My airbags suddenly blew after I dropped in a pot hole. Is this due to bad impact sensors in front bumper?
I have new bags but don't want to replace without fixing the issue that cause them to deploy in the first place.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
