I thought Jerry's was the only Turbo S produced in Blue Turquoise and first car off the line.I asked Porsche how many Blue Turquoise 993's were delivered to US in 1997 when i sent for my Cert of Auth but he said they could not disclose that info.Does any body know?

Porsche produced very few Blue Turquoise 993 cars although that color was a standard color (no upcharge). It just wasn't popular. I have heard that only 12 cars were produced in that color and shipped to California in either 96 or 97 (when the color was standard).

I started the color up again for the 997 version of the 911--know of a couple of other guys who followed my lead and had theirs painted blue turquoise as well.

Here's mine with a friend's cabriolet in Mammoth. She got hers new in New York where apparently the dealer just couldn't give away that color in that area.

Hmmm... Only 12? I know I've seen at least 5 in California, mine included. I got mine at just over dealer cost - it was quite easy to negotiate because the dealer and I both knew that, in 1997, they were never going to be able to sell that color.
