Had some minor service performed over the last couple of days by Mike Schatz and well, let me just say...wow. The guy is very, very impressive. I did do some research with the "search" function and the description of his knowledge, service, and integrity were spot on (not to mention his very fair pricing). Extremely knowledgeable about everything Porsche but he blew me away with his knowledge relating the air cooled world, in particular, with our cars.

The shop he is working out of is awesome...he gave me a tour of the work that is being performed on the rebuilds. He helps with that portion of the business but uses the facilities to perform his services. It is a clean set-up.

I can't recommend him enough...and no affiliation whatsoever.

Completely agree, can't say enough about Mike and MKS. Just had the 30k mile service completed on my 1996 993. Great service, unbelievable knowledge of Porsche and willing to take time to share it.

He worked on my 80SC Weissach Coupe when he was with Pete Zimmerman at Red Line in Santa Monica. He was years of Porsche dealership wrenching (Not wenching) experience. Mike is one of the very best there is. Thanks to this Forum, I have now re-discovered Mike. I will be certain to cruise by his shop on my next trip to LA, down the 101.
