Default Alluminum door sills for sale, vendor gone?

Hey Listers,

Some time back one of the vendors made alluminum door sills for various models, he advertised on E-Bay, now he seems to have gone. They looked really good, as I wanted a set saying "CarreraS"... anyone know this vendor?

Thanks in advance!

Bert (yeah I know you spell alluminum different in the US:-)

Hey Listers,

Thanks for the link! I just did the "Buy It Now" on E-Bay, did you guys take the old door sill off or just glued it over top?

Cheers,

Bert

Take off the stock sill, clean well, and install the new ones. I really like mine!

Harvey is great. I just cleaned the stock sills w/ brake cleaner and put the aluminum sill on top of the stock. It has worked great for over 6 months now..no prob.

Are these SS sills designed to have the old rubber sills removed or just applied on top of the old rubber sills?

I ask because I am concern with clearance, though some have installed on top of the rubber sills with no issues though DB_NC_95C2 had a slight issue with his install.

If the orig ones are loose or starting to peel etc, then you may have a prob.. If not ,just go right over top. If your'e in doubt though you should prob remove the old ones? good luck!
