DIY at www.odometer.com They sell the gears you need as well. Not a hard DIY, but tedious and take your time. I have done it twice. You will save a ton of $$$$$ doing it yourself.

I did the gear last year but still want to update the face to KPH. A new plate is $150 from:

Hartmut C. Mees
Palo Alto Speedometer, Inc.
718 Emerson Street
Palo Alto, CA 94301-2410
Phone (650) 323-0243
Fax (650) 323-4632
www.paspeedo.com

There is a KPH speedo on Ebay right now but it's not cheap.

I did the DIY repair also. The owner was totally patient and helpful walking me through the process. He even took my call whilst in the middle of a poker game! (he won the hand) Not reccomended if you're all thumbs, but one of the most satisfying DIYs to be sure.
