Thanks for all the input folks. I'm fairly sure I'll start with splitters. I can't afford to do it all (including high brake light) at once, so I'll have to stage it. If I do the wing, it will have to include side skirts as well.

ok, another question...

for those that have gone RS rear fixed wing, or are planning, did/would you modify your existing rear deck or find another to repaint/wing&grill install, and keep the original OEM with basket handle/moveable wing in case you needed it, or in case you sold the car so you'd have the original, etc.

I'm considering doing the latter, getting a rear deck, having it repainted, install the fixed wing & grill, and remove my existing as is, and secure the rear brake light wiring and power for moveable wing just in case. Later I'd add high mounted 96-98 stop light and would need the brake light wiring for that.

THANKS in advance for opinions

oh, you mean just modify existing original rear deck and don't mess with buying another deck to create RS and save my original... ?

(actually the biggest question is funds.... can't do everything at once so front splitters first)

I meant splitters & wing.

And you've done enough other mods to the car I wouldn't worry about trying to keep parts to return it to stock. You're too far down the slope. It will look fantastic.

Now that you've decided to go ahead and do it, a couple of suggestions:

1) When you do splitters, do bumperette delete also.
2) If funds are an issue, I would save up and do the whole job in one shot. Spraying all the parts at the same time will be cheaper, easier and increase the chances of the paint matching.
3) +1 on Dr. No's comments.
4) If you stage it out, do RS splitters if you're absolutely sure you'll go ahead with the RS wing, otherwise consider doing the AeroKit1 splitters instead as they look much better on their own. The RS splitters look out of place without the wing IMO.

Great project!
