Was woundering what your opinion was on me getting Carbon fiber trim Just for the Gauges, Center console (switches, hand brake, console bin, all of the center console pieces), door handles, and door sills. no dash trim.
I kind of dont want to get all of it because thats almost too much carbon trim.
BTW. I have Cashmere interior, I think it will be a very nice Contrast.
And the Heater blower bypass pipe........ What does it take out the blower and the heater doesent work? or just works much worse?
I love the way it looks.

I recently installed the heater bypass... you lose a little bit of weight, but to be honest the rear blower motor and tube don't weigh that much.
You get less heat at standstill but it does improve a litte once you are underway. Oregon winters may be a little cold for this mod but if you live in a temperate climate or don't use the car much in winter then it's a reasonable upgrade. It looks good in the engine bay and de-clutters it.
I also have CF pieces but went with the dash pieces, handbrake and bin and the RS door pull bezels I didn't go for all the pieces either as I think it would be too much.

Yeah, I picked it up on Australian eBay from a local manufacturer brand new for less than the cost of the crappy plastic factory part. They are looking into making me a CF engine and fan shroud as well.

Does it fit well?
Do you have a 964 or 993?
How much?
I wont drive my 993 much in the winter days anyway... Do you have to do that resistor mod or something or is that for something else to do with the rear blower?

For your 993 you will need the 964 fan shroud duct. This is because the CF bypass tube has an oval opening the same as the 964 whereas your 993 has a round opening on the heater duct.
For the 964 you don't need resistors, just two jumpers on the heater blower relay. Not sure how the jumper solution would work on the 993. I seem to recal that only one jumper is required but you'll need to check someone more knowledgable with 993's.
The fit was fine but required some messing around as the rubber fan shroud duct had become hard with heat and age. If you end up getting a new 964 fan shroud you should have no difficulty getting a good fit.
From memory the CF tubes are around US$200 and the 964 shroud duct is anothe $40 or so.

From my experience /w my $15 heater bypass. It is the volume of air that is missing with the bypass installed. Heated air temp is about the same.
With the bypass installed...when you turn your heater and fan on. At a 4, you get the air volume of a 2 maybe a bit less. That is when standing.
When moving, the air volume seemed to increase. At least in my experience.
