Came across this car on Ebay – 1997 C4S supercharged – No affiliation. Seems like a nice car, but after speaking with the dealership they are NOT certain the car has documented service history as the previous owner owns a Ferrari dealership and all of the service ws done by his mechanics – Which doesn’t totally make sense to me.

A few other odd points is the car is listed with 450 HP – I thought the TPC set up on a 993 yields 360- 380 HP. So I asked if any additional performance upgrades have been done and I was told no. Can this be right?

Lastly is the price 49k - is that high for this car? What is the real valve of a C4S with a supercharger?

hideous....

flemmings has a relationship of some sort with TPC... and they put a TPC supercharger in the car...usually a C4s (from what I have seen in the past)...and sell it as some really unique vehicle.... to boost up the price of the car.

it is more of a sales ploy than anything...and I am sure TPC gets paid after the sale or something like that....


ps: did I mention I think the car is hideous ?

as a side note Rich, another sales person from Flemmings just called me and completely changed the story the car now has complete service history from Porsche NA. But he has to find the records.

Ferrarri 360's are really getting cheap now...65k - I've seen a couple for...hhhhmmmm
