To be determined...I don't know really. There are little to no 993's on the market and definately not cheap if they do appear. 997's are dropping in value much like they have been in the U.S. so maybe in the next year. Porsche had an offer of 0% financing for a while months ago and now you see alot of newer 911's and Boxsters roaming around. Watch that Dubizzle site as that's where most Pcars are adverstised much like autotrader etc.

I don't need to sell and have not thought about it, but this is an interesting thread... It took me 16 months to find this 993, but here's what I have in my garage -
1998 C4S with 17,600 miles, black/black, manual, in perfect condition. The only modification is that it has been lowered.
Feel free to PM or email for details, but please don't if you are looking for a bargain. Again, I don't need to sell, but maybe someone is looking for this combination and will make me an offer I can't refuse.

That looks and sounds familiar. Mine is a 2S but looks similar to yours. Like you I spent months looking at so-so cars until I found the one I wanted with sport seats, sunroof, 18 inch wheels, motor sound option...
I probably paid too much but I got the car I wanted. Mine's probably not for sale!

New here tonight. Nice site. I am starting to look also. Had a '98C2S from 2001-2005 and I want another 993.
My wish list includes:
Coupe ONLY.
6 speed ONLY.
NO Guards Red or Speed Yellow. Would consider most other colors.
Under 50K miles with (as complete as possible) records. Window sticker a plus.
Prefer regular seats but would consider sport seats.
No supple leather.
Pre-purchase inspection of my choice.
Looking to spend $30-40K at this point, but condition, options and provenance may change my price point a bit.
I'm in no rush - winter's here and the economy really isn't getting better. Unless one thinks unemployment of "only" 10% is a victory of the stimulus package.
Thoughts? Thanks.

Why pay the premium for such low mileage? My last four 911s were garage queens and I couldn't bring myself to track them. I found a car that was well set up and tracked from almost day one. Not perfect, but track ready, maintained to a very high standard... for less than a another garage queen.

This is really the only problem with my car - It's too nice to put a cage in (but runs like a scalded cat!)

I am totally confused on what to get next, but looking to sell my 1996 Adventurine Green Cabriolet C2 Tiptronic. I am in the process of installing a new rebuilt alternator and will probably take off the MO30 kit and put it back to stock. Beautiful car but I miss the six speed manual.

i would like to find a WB speed yellow, silver or black areo .. Turbo not out of question.. modified not a problem prime condition.
I figure if i am letting f go Speed yellow 2010 GT3 the 993 should be as nice!
