My 993 Search Is Over!
Ladies and gents,
I just finalized the deal. Will be getting a nicely set up silver '96 C4S in the next week or so. After 3 black Porsches I was ready for a light car and found exactly what I was looking for.
My wife and I recently had a baby and I just sold my RS America which would've been a little too hardcore for the little guy: http://www.rennsportamerica.com/
Wanted to get something more tame and civilized, and with wider hips as well
The C4S I bought used to belong to Rennlister "Jim" until a couple of years ago. He did many upgrades to it including PSS9, RS/TRG sways, LWF, RSR mufflers, Litronics, Euro front & rear bumpers, turbo S chin spoiler and fog lights, 996 3-spoke steering wheel, C2S rear grille, and a whole bunch of other stuff I forget now...
I bought the car from its current owner in Colorado who was very helpful, professional, and easy to deal with. The car needs a little maintenance, but it passed PPI with flying colors. Here's the leak down test: 1 - 2%, 2 - 1%, 3 - 2%, 4 - 2%, 5 - 3%, 6 - 2%. Not too shabby for a 100K miler
Huge thanks to boulderbobo for giving me heads up on the car and sorry I stole this picture:

Congrats brother! Glad you found a nice one, and it certainly seems you did! Give us your thoughts on 993 vs mean RSA when you get to spend some time in it. This one should suit your current needs much better.

So you have a baby and you sell the modded RS for a more civilized C4S...a true p-car enthusiast...love it!
I spoke to Jim when his car was for sale and had considered buying it but ended up buying another Polar C4S instead. Great car and great to see it stay in the RL family.
Congrats on the purchase and all the best to you and your family.

Very, very nice. You will love it (as I do) when the kids get in the pcar, take a deep breath, and say "Dad, I love the way this car smells!". They do it every time. I love it too!
