Big Bird's transplant. Take 2
Hope you guys dont mind but the other thread is getting too long (2yrs old) and a lot of custom changes being done. Good news is this time its almost complete. I came from Scargo today and I personally took more detailed pictures of the motor's progress
3.8 twin plug twin turbo
I was honestly stunned to see how nice it looks and a crazy thought came to my mind. I thought of not installing it and just to enjoy it in my living room like a work of art.

Absolutely nice work but I don't understand how the mechanic or whoever assembled the turbo tightened the turbine wheel with a channel lock or how did the bolt get so disformed? I have assembled and modified many turbos but never seen the shaft bolt so messed up.
I'd take a second look on that. Just as a percaution.
Otherwise, super jaleaus because I'd put that motor to good use in Germany these days.

You, my friend, are a patient man. I would have logged many a sleepless night dreaming about what is, what will be etc. I hate waiting for anything!!!!! You rule!
