Default Red Calipers

So it was a rainy day today and decided to paint my calipers red. What you think? I have plenty of paint left over and if anyone is interested, PM me and I can send you the kit. I think it will be enough for at least 10 more cars (40 calipers)...

Gappy, the calipers are a nice contrast to the dark blue paint.Looks great with those thin spoked wheels. Nice job!

Nice job. Your car looks great!!!!!! Any other color than black IMHO. No ill will intended for others with black calipers. I just like the flash. Here are 2 of my cars with painted calipers. It really shows the car well.

Very nicely done. The key to looking totally correct seems to be to only paint the calipers themselves and none of the hardware. Did you use decals or a stencil for the logo?

Yes it is. The pic was taken about 1/2 way through the transformation.

Is this paint heat resistant? Does anyone know how this compares to a powder coating finish? Thanks in advance. - Glenn

I'm sure I can search, but being lazy on a Saturday night......... Do these paints and decals hold up? The C4S is pretty much coming apart in a couple of weeks after one last track day, and the discoloration of the front calipers has been unbelievable. So I either freshen them......figure it's an annual maintenance thing, or just use the two new big reds I have on the shelf (and watch them turn ugly next year).

Nice work. The contrast looks great with your color car and as mentioned, definately stands out behind the thin spoke MY02's.

I would love to do this to mine, just don't think it's worth the effort with a red car :-(

from what I have been told the paint is good up to 500 deg heat and the decals do hold up pretty well. But ask me again next year
