FYI, it says the capacity of that jack is only 2900 lbs.

Does it reach all the way under the 993 motor to the correct jacking point with out having to hold the lever down?

From the center of the jack pad to the forward edge of the yoke where the handle is inserted measures 19.5 inches.

I have a relatively inexpensive AL one I bougt from a race shop on Ebay. I think it is the same as the one at HF. I had it for 4 years or more and finally that little ujoint that lowers it broke. I actually rigged up something so I can still use it, but will probably pick up another HF sometime soon. I always use my ESCOs as soon as I get it raised up anyway, so...

Here is a thread on Pelican with their thoughts ont he HF jack: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...nice-jack.html

I've had a AC DK20 jack for about 6 - 7 yrs I think, has worked very well for me, no issues. Very well designed/built jack. I don't use it as much since I got the Bend Pac scissor lift though. $10 for a pair of large replacement (wheel) O-rings is outrageous though.
