Going on 4 years....It was at the track with me every weekend when I had my Evo-8 and 9. Still works great. I still use it at least twice a week on my BMW and Purple beast...and what ever else wonders into my garage...Another jack is made by Griots Garage. I work on 50 million dollar planes for a living, I use good tools...don't skimp.
I have this one also....this is awsum but very heavy..http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...rrivals&page=1.

With an exuberant website such as that, I can't help but think that those are made in the same Chinese facilities as ALL of the other readily-available "lightweight aluminum race jacks"....... Although, one could easily be led to believe that them's some good 'ol American boys makin' & sellin' them Nevada jacks.

We have been selling National Nascar Teams since 1958 !
Hmm.

I bought a Aluminum Race Jack from Harbor Freight about a month ago and I'm being dead honest when I say it can barely lift my 993. The only part of the purchase I'm not regretting is the $19 insurance thing I bought with it that allows me to take it back for any reason.

As soon as I return it I'm putting in an order on a DK13 AC Floor Jack. There is finally someone who is carrying them in the US. http://www.acjacks.com/

http://www.acjacks.com/ the AC Flat Tops Jack stands are back. And I thought they were unavailable, search and searched. Bought the ESCO's and they are not bad, and about half the price.

I bought this Aluminum Service Jack from Tire Rack. Actually I bought it as a set with two jack stands and then ordered an extra set of jack stands.

3.5" to 19.5" lift and weighs under 50 pounds.

They're all made off shore.

Dang! IXLR8 beat me to it! Ours is made in China, but we have had no issues with them that I know of. If there are, you can be assured we will stand behind them. $169. Call me if interested.

Damon, is this considered a "low profile" jack like the Sears 2-1/2 ton l.p. jack? Thanks.

Good to know!

I bought the jack and stand set which was a better deal than buying them separately. The extra set of jack stands ran me another $69.00. You might want to create a set which includes the jack and 4 stands (even if it may be packed separately).

I've only had it since October 2009, but I'm happy with its performance.

The jack stands are a nice piece as well. I bought an extra set to go with the jack and stand set.

I went through this last year. I needed a jack with very low clearance (3" or less) as my car is very low. I wanted an aluminum jack to get over the pit wall and get to the car quickly to change a flat in an enduro (which was needed last October). I bought the first jack listed here: http://www.asedeals.com/zinko_alumin...ing_jacks.html

It's not a $100 or $200 jack but others that have one (or more) that sees heavy use for years have been happy. I'm happy after 1 year.
