Default Is a 4-Spoke Tiptronic Airbag Different than a 6-Speed One ??

I am pulling some of the parts off my cab in preparation to sell it. I bought a 4-spoke tiptronic steering wheel from one person and a 4-spoke airbag from a 6-speed 993 from another. The airbag I got will not sit properly. There are two spacers that stick out on each side that the retaining screws screw into. I have posted a photo of the airbag I have. Or, do I remove them for installation on a tip wheel. TIA

Part number on the airbag I have is 993 803 089 00. It came off of a 1995 993 cab.

Disregard. I used the search function (novel idea) and learned that the early 993 airbags are deeper that 1996 and on. So, I am on the hunt for a 1996 or later 993 airbag.
