Been looking for over 3 months now, actually started with 996's but quickly fell for the lines and sound of the 993. After much research and learning on how to examine the cars...from this site and the book Secrets of buying a 911, I think I found one.

Two owner car even though Carfax shows one, current owner purchased from his business partner and has owned it for last 7 years. All service records even window sticker. It is a 96, C4S with little under 26K miles. There are some light scratches on the car, but nothing deep and I feel that they can be buffed out. There is one little ding on the hood but that can be fixed easily too. It is in great condition and I am taking the plunge to have it PPI'd ASAP. One of my favorite colors too...Arena Red and litronic headlights. Interior is in very nice shape.

Original owner was a PCA member and did some DE days, but nothing hard...it has been lowered to Euro height and I believe corner balanced. Not too many mods with an added sway bar. Vehicle has been parked in garage always in the same spot and there wasn't a drop of oil on the ground. Nor did the undercarriage pan have any signs of oil. One wheel has a bit of curb rash but minor and I have a great shop locally that can fix.

I hope I am not going to jinx it, since I have seen many vehicles that looked good but ended up not being good.

Sounds like a great car to have!!!!

You can't go wrong with a super color as Arena Red!!! But then I am partial to that color. Mine is cashmere interior, great color combo IMHO.

Thanks for the support. It is black interior, which is a first find for me. Arena Red with Cashmere sounds really great too.

I would love to tell the price, but I don't want to jinx it. I will share if/when the purchase goes through. However, I am happy with the negotiated price if the PPI goes well.

I find it a bit ironic that a Boxter shows up right when I took the picture. Man this color rocks...ok, I am bit old school.

I hunted and hunted and hunted for this or AR/cashmere and just couldn't find one when I was searching..... Not that I'm un-happy with my beauty, its just....kind of like that cute girl in college you never did quite get to date...you'll always wonder....
