A beauty with all the credentials.

First mod: remove the bumper ****. Like having warts on Cinderella.

Again, thanks for all the kind words..I'm glad to be amongst such nice people..

Been seriously thinking about front bumperette removal. Im not ready to give my car up for that amount of time just yet. perhaps in a few weeks..

Looks like McQueen's 911 in LeMans was slate gray. Don't have any idea why I thought it was granite green.....

Both great colors.

stunning example...great initial mods too (emphasis: initial...because they will never end trust me). I just recently added Walrod bushings myself and it's a big thumbs up.

Favorite non performance mod =FVD Daytona steering wheel. Rim size is a personal preference, 340mm is perfect for me.

Favorite performance mod = Rennsport ECU. Added in conjunction with a full motor rebuild (full write up pending). Literally transformed the car.

I'm salivating over a new gearbox which is next as soon as I can afford it!

The color is gorgeous, can't wait to see more pics including the interior.

Congrats P1CR. I extensively talked to Mike (Seller) about his car, and I think you made a great purchase.
She was not cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for, and I think she is worth every penny.
Good luck, and indulge us with future pictures.

I've tried to find the magazine that the [McQueen] car was in...csertich
Chuck:

It's the February 2008 issue of Octane. It has a yellow Lotus on the cover.

Wow, nice find and good job leaping down the slope. Can't wait for more pics and definately want to see those Speedlines mounted up!

The San Diego 993 guys are overdue for trip up to an Irvine Cars & Coffee,....you'll have to be there with your mods done.

Granite Green is a great color !
(i fell for a 928 in that hue but never pulled the trigger )
It will look awesome with Speedlines. The other planned mods sound great too, although I would resist the RS bodywork.
And, you are moving to an area with roads made for a Porsche ! Have fun
