I need one as well. I contacted the supplier in this thread and they are out of stock but would "have more soon". Perhaps we could pull together another group buy? Any interest?

Notch-- Check this handy RL thread: "WTB: Silver Hood Crest"
From it, I just found this recent eBay auction for ~$99: "Porsche Silver Hood Crest Badge - 911 996 997 Boxter" item # 160350704587.
Per ad: "Please contact me for any further information. We have several of these available!" Ask seller 'highTechEuro' for more & let us know.
Pcars.com (related to FastForward): "Porsche Silver Hood Crest Badge Emblem Kit." Advertised as $162.45, but listed as out of stock. Ask Eli @ FastForward for more info: sales@pcars.com. Good luck!
No affiliation.

And it looks like they're out. btw, the cost for the gold OEM from Porsche has increased in price. Pelican has them for $171.25 I don't remember them that high. They were around $80, iirc.(?) http://tinyurl.com/y9uxbkp
So maybe there's a supply issue. Probably VW's fault.

even some p online sites here ship to US.
here is one :

ps: on this site, don't buy the kit composed of badge, seal, and 2xnuts. JUST Buy badge + seal + 2 nuts part by part is much cheaper.
Yes another stupid asxhole on the run

17.5% tax to go on that, but still alot cheaper than your US badges seem to be retailing at.
I have just tried to fit my silver crest that I got from ebay about 12 months ago, and the lugs are about 5mm higher than on the OEM gold grest. Gutted because the paint under the badge is not the best, and with the difference in lug height, it sits the badge too low meaning that the crappy paint is exposed.
Might be interested in a group buy if the silver badges supplied have the OEM lug fitment ??

No affiliation, yada yada.
Says he has a quantity available and may discount for bulk - worth an approach maybe?
