Default Creaking noise when driving up driveway at an angle

I purchased my '95 993 used and did have a PPI performed...

....here's my problem,
when approaching my driveway I hit it at an angle so I don't scrape the bottom of the car. When I do this I hear creaking inside the car, like metal rubbing against rubber. Or rubber against glass. Is this normal or do I have a car that was in a serious accident?

Thanks.

Mine creaks! Never had any other car do that before. The windshields on these cars are known to creak as well.

Once again geolab is on the spot. This is a great fix and used it when I had my old cab. On my new cab I lubed the gasket for the windshield prior to install. The creaking is normal but can be diminished.

Mine creaks with the best of them! I used the Porsche rope method and it helped a little but it's still creaks.

Porsche rope method? Educate me please. Btw, did you play golf the other day or were you rained out?

Brian,
It's a rope that fits under the rubber seal for the back window. I bought it from Sunset. I guess it keeps the window from moving around so much. It did help with he creaking.

I did play the other day but it did start raining on the 17th hole.

I look forward to seeing you in November for Palooza!

Totally normal -- mine has creaked since day #1. I used to "fix" with silicone, but it is only a temporary fix.

Talk about a crazy driveway! I had to design and get steel ramps fabricated just so I could get the cars in the garage! PITA!

Nah, it's a 2000 sq.ft. garage with a house on top. Got room for 6 cars, 7 in a pinch.

Me too! Remind me to look at this rope thing while we're there.
