Buy it for me... that way your wife wouldn't know, and my wife would let me live... mighty tempting!!!

One other thing I should mention: I'll include a boost gauge, pod, and all needed tubing. It looks very tasteful (maybe I'll take a pic). I can also provide some support on installing an AFR sensor like I did.

You know, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to plead for permission.

A couple interested parties have asked questions about the turbo condition due to possible particles in the oil from the engine failure. To put to rest any concerns, I will send the turbos out to a turbo shop for teardown, inspection, and cleanup. I will do that once we have a deal, so that the buyer can actually talk with the inspectors to be personally assured that everything's fine.

You don't want your wife to get bent and self-destruct I'm sure.

You know, I told myself I'd never post this because it's so embarassing, but enough time has passed that I've forgiven myself for the bad judgment on the homebrew oil catch can. So here it is. The worst. Idea. Ever.

And yes, the parts were from Home Depot.

I use to own a 600hp 993tt. I now own a 525+hp 993vram turbo conversion. It is very similar to the above setup that is for sale. Between the 2 cars I prefer the 993 turbo conversion. It has a much better personality. Power delivery is very smooth not the hard hit of the 993tt. Part throttle back roads is where this setup rules! High compression low boost = smooth and fast. Low compression high boost = thrilling ride when boost hits but it lacks the fun factor of the turbo conversion.

Good luck with the sale Eric.

being a new member not sure if i've missed something - is this a bolt on upgrade for a 993 turbo or a full twin turbo conversion for the N/A model? (guys talking about using the turbo wings, i thought the latter)

edit: nvm, read the linked threads
