I grew up a few blocks from the Grove (long before it was "the Grove"), and my parents still live there. Practically neighbors, eh?

I am a Los Angeles native as well. I try to tell people what this place was like in the early 70s when I was a little kid; very different town in those days. Wish I'd had my 993 in those days, before traffic got to where it is now!
