Default OT: Surgery again
I keep telling myself I'll keep this stuff to myself (altho I've shared with a few) but I got such great news today I just had to write to my friends on Rennlist. Diagnosed with small cancerous growth on my left kidney couple of months ago. Had surgery on August 26th. Initial pathology reports looked good but the doctor called me this morning (on a Saturday!) to tell me they did a much more complete test and I'm cancer free once again.

I feel like I've been hit by a truck but I'm healing on schedule.

For those of you who know my health saga, I can only conclude that someone forgot to put the chlorine in my gene pool.

Anyway, I'm so elated I just wrote this down and am gonna hit send...

I don't know your history, but as a long-time sufferer of kidney "issues," I fully understand the "hit by a truck" feeling...Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.
