Arredondo Motorsports Open House this Saturday (9/12) in Torrance
Thought I'd let you guys know that Arredondo Motorsports is holding an open house at his shop this Saturday at 1pm. I had referred to it earlier as a "tech session," but it's in fact an "open house." Art Arredondo has been working on Porsches for at least 15 years (I don't know for sure how long, but it's at least 15!) He's a really great guy and knows A LOT about all Porsches, and is what I would consider an expert on the 993. He also crews a lot of cup car races, so he's a real wealth of knowledge.
He's going to field questions for anyone that has them. There will be an open lift so that if you have specific questions about something on your car, he can help you out (time permitting). And there may be a very very cool vintage supercar there on the alignment rack for you to check out if the stars align. No promises though!
Come down, meet him, eat his food and ask lots of questions!
The address is 1914 W. Del Amo Blvd in Torrance
310-787-7001
The menu includes Tacos, Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, marinated wings & marinated chicken, rice and beans – 4 different types of salsa, soda & beer.
Please reply to this thread to let me know if you guys are coming so I can give him a rough head count.

Sorry, I just talked to him. I guess he did a tech session last weekend in conjunction with another shop. So instead, he's doing an "open house," which seems like it's just a lot less formal (and not 993-specific). He said that he'd be fielding questions and will have an open lift for peoples' cars to help with illustrating points.
