Default OT-best man gift recommendations

I am getting married in a month and am looking for suggestions
on a gift for my best man. He is a big time Porsche fan like I am
and would like to get him something he likes, something functional
yet traditional(somewhat). I have been scoping out Porsche Design lighters. Any other suggestions?

I saw someone selling a Porsche watch on this board. You could do something like that...

How much do you want to spend and does he have a Porsche? If so, what kind?

Too bad Andreas is not making anymore Porsche Clocks anytime soon. That would be an awesome gift.

How about a genuine hood badge, then all he'll need is a car to put it on.

That shouldn't break the bank.

My friend has a 996. He may be looking to move into a Cayenne. A PD watch is out of my price range. I have to stay under $200.

Montblanc Pens.
I gave one to each of the guys in my wedding and was overwhelmed by how much they actually liked their gift.

give your best man something of meaning. For example: A Porsche badge with a personal engraving on the back. Or an engraved picture of a Porsche on a flask with a personal note on back. Then its something that has more meaning than a sedimental Porsche memrobilia item.

+1...

Probably one of the nicest gifts I received was a PCA Emblem mounted on a wood plaque with a personalized note etched in the wood (for designing/programming the 50th Anniversary PCA Parade website)... It's a really a wonderful, personalized gift...

HTH!

I was in a wedding many years ago and the groom got us all personalized and signed jerseys from the quarterback at Texas at the time (Major Applewhite who was/is a bit of a texas legand). We were all huge UT fans and I cherish that jersey to this day.

A sports jersey might not be the right thing, but if he's into porsche racing, maybe you could hook up something from a porshe legand (I don't know who that would be in the porsche world, but someone like Carol Shelby if he was into Fords for example).
