I bought this 15 years ago thinking it was one day going to be desirable. I understand that some Vasek Polak (Hermosa Beach) stuff is collectable. This was an ashtray that was used in the dealership at Hermosa Beach. I was cleaning out the basement a while back and found it in a box with some other stuff. I had completely forgot about it. Ebay will probably be the best determining factor, but wanted to see if anyone here knew. The backside is labeled "Jack Nadel, Culver City, CA" They were the supplier/manufacturer and still in business according to a Google search. I may call them and see if they can tell me when it was made. The condition is a 8.5 out of 10. As it was used at the dealership when you could smoke inside. Any opinions are greatly appreciated it may be worthless, but with all the CA people on here someone may know.

It's worth $100 million dollars...............well maybe not that much but I am sure there are vasek polak collectors who would pay a good price for that ashtray.
Good luck.........ZP44

You could also ask the folks over on the early911sregistry.org forums. There's a cool thread on Porsche memorabilia in the general forum.
I do know that Vasek license plate frames (real ones) are highly coveted and can fetch hundreds of dollars.

heard about the story of the guy who started out with a paper clip and traded it all the way up to a house?
Anything is possible where that ashtray could take you----even if it was made in China and probably full of lead. :-)
