tjangi,

Did you ever complete your HID and driving light install? I, with another local 993 owner, are planning the upgrade with the same parts. Any issues?

The 4w bulbs from gert were for the "driving" or fog lights? I assume the 55w bulb is the one you use for headlights.

correct. 4w bulb was a LED bulb for the driving light. 55watts for the headlights

Hey bro! I picked up the DDMs. Read good things about them (see website) and they were cheaper ($84 w/55w option). They also had a great DIY pdf on line and supposed life-time warranty. Road Trip!!!!

EDIT; didn't realize you had already done this. Oh well....Road trip coming up

The DIY is good but it just shows the guy tucking the ballasts into the fender with no other info. That didn't sit well with me so I installed the drivers side ballast under the condensor ?? (black tank) with home made aluminum brackets. This requires removing the wheel well cover. On the passenger side I zip tied the ballast to the horns. It seems pretty secure. This should work out better.
