And our ancestors (or maybe some of us here) did long jaunts in 356's!
But for piling up the miles in oppressively hot weather, hopping in my wife's '06 325i that has their nice sport seats is effortless.

Have driven my RSA across desert heat, with no problems or discomfort. AC fine.
As delivered from Porsche, these are more GT than sportscars.
Then some of us begin to modify.
