I have a black full leather phone console available as well. I swapped it out for the standard one.

Sorry, no template. I just traced the shape of the stock part that I pulled out onto aluminum, then did a lot of filing to get it to fit right.

I don't have the paperwork in front of me, but from the PET, it looks like 911 613 615 01 "retaining frame."
UPDATE: Looked at the paperwork. The full number is 911-613-615-01-01C, paid <$2 each from Sunset in July '08.

Not that attractive to me. It does look like you did some good quality work, but personally - I think it looks a little gaudy. Other than that...I like your car though.

Well, if ya can't say somethin' nice...



It's not the sleekest-looking thing, but the dimensions of the original console are what they are, so if anything it is a bit clunky. Originally, I wanted to find a recessed GPS dock like the one pictured below (for aviation I think), but nothing seems to be available for consumer GPSs.
