Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet RWD 3.6L V6 with 300HP and a 6-Speed manual transmission. One owner with only 52,000 miles. This 911 is an affordable sports car that is in excellent condition as it is barely driven, frequently washed and garaged in the winter. Interior/exterior are both 9 out of 10. After-market custom spoiler. Clutch and breaks were recently replaced at 50,000 miles. 70-80% of the tread left on its Continental tires. A beautiful car that is priced to sell. Call Matt (781 264 6664) with questions and for its VIN number.

Must resist.
Between the 996 with track upgrades for 22.5 and this car, my will power is greatly challenged. (Serial car buyer's 12 step. Hi, my name is Marc. It's been 48 weeks since I last purchased a car....)

That's a great price, but I would like to know if an engine conversion has been done on this car? You mention that the engine is a V6 with 300HP, 911 engines are flat 6. That year the HP was around 285BHP, is the V6 and 300HP a mis-print.:![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)

Spoke to seller. Car sounds very good and strong. He is the original owner.
Isuues with the car are with the top mechanism (this can definitely cost some $) and some paint issues in the front (rock chips and what sounds like some East Coast style parking bumps on the front fender). Also wear on the driver's bolster. At this price it seems like he is getting quite a bit of interest and I wouldn't be surprised if the car sold for more than the ask by the time it's all done.
An original owner car with all the records puts it in a different class for me since you're buying it from the person who paid $80,000 for it in the first place. The tail was "custom done" in "99 according to him. He used Blue Book to come up with a price.

sounds about what you would think....uninformed seller just using BB value. while hes an owner he didnt sound that informed according to the add.
if it was a C2S at this price I wouldnt have even posted it and I would have been on my way to Hingham this morning to camp outside his house and cut his phone/cable line to prevent incoming contact

I've seen ads from dealers that use V6 and some that I questioned whether the dealer knew anything at all about the car they were selling. The difference between Manual and automatic is one that's frequently wrong.
