Default wing rattles

Ok if youre like me , i try to pin point every rattle and attack it, found a new one . the rear wing in its rest postion has a little play and tends to rattle a bit . Is ther a way i can adjust this?

If you look under the engine lid where the wing mounts to the lid, you'll find fine spacers between the wing mounting bolts and the sheet metal. about 100mm wide, 12inches long and a mm or two deep. two or three per side. Take one out each side and see if that helps. One hint, you do no need to take the bolts right out, the shims are slotted. Undo the bolts/nuts a little and use a fine screwdriver to ease one out. The shims are all the same size I belive. Really easy.

Also make sure that the hex-head bolts that secure the wing to the articulating arms are nice and tight. After tightening it down and using some locktite, the bolt has been problem-free.

tried the shim thing already, seems to be just the right side that has any play, just enough to rattle when going over a bumpy road

I think the right side will always be the source of slop/play, as the wing is connected to the raising mechanism on the left side only. Maybe try a discreet black rubber bumper between the lower edge of the wing and the mating surface on the decklid?
